New project : BESTMAP

The RISE Foundation kicked off in September 2019 a new Horizon 2020 project – BESTMAP – which will work in the upcoming four years to develop improved tools to European policy-makers to predict the impacts of future policies on rural areas.

The project will develop a new framework taking account of farmers’ needs and effectively monitoring policy impacts on natural, social and cultural assets in rural areas. This will ultimately help produce a web tool enabling policy-makers to analyse the adoption of various agri-environmental schemes.
